This specimen exists in almost all tropical and equatorial countries all all over the word.
Its fruit seems like a big nut and it is only appreciated by children with no commercial value.
It's amazing to see how resistant the specimen is... here under seawater...

Unbelievable loneliness and strength!
Well framed with a great depth in image.
There is a little noise on the sky, perhaps owing to over-saturated colour.
I love the figure of that tree!

Adorei a composição. A bela árvore parece uma guardiã da paisagem.Temos por aqui inúmeras dessas árvores e quando chega o verão elas se enfeitam de folhas vermelhas.

A beautifull tree, stangely planted on the beach with the sea splashing around it. Good view on the sea in the background, an this makes a much more ecological image compared to the plastic boat of your previous view.

Fascinating colours in the sky and sea here, Rui. The rocks make a good balance for the wide crown of the nut tree. simply perfect.

This is really one of your best works. The framing shows the wave threatening the tree, the little jetty proviveds balance. The light is wonderful and the detail and color are perfect. Very well done!!

I was drawn to this image by the unusualness of the tree being lapped by the sea. It must be very hardy to withstand these conditions. You have framed the image well placing the tree on the right while the rocks provide balance. Good timing to catch the splash of the wave.

Olá Rui,

Uma foto magnífica, muito bem composta, com uma luz quente maravilhosa e com umas cores a darem-lhe uma ar de foto antiga muito agradável e adequado ao que mostra. Gosto do equilíbrio entre o monte de pedras e a árvore e da espuma no chão. A solidão daquela árvore contra o mar tem algo de quase humano e muito nostálgico.

É realmente impressionante com essas árvores são tão resistentes à água salgada.

Ótimo seu retrato! parabéns. Creio que esta árvore por aqui seja a que chamamos "amendoeira", mas os frutos não são comestíveis.
E como é que a árvore sobrevive com água salgada? com a palavra nossos botânicos...
