SÃO Tomé sea water
They are salty and warm. The bath zones are in small lagoons between the porous volcanic rock formations.
The temperature is always the same night and day from January to December, range is 27 to 29 C degrees the same temperature of the air.
This is really a lovely place.
:) AS you see...
S. Tomé Island view from the southern equator line crossed small island "Ilhéu das Rolas".

Rui, esta é uma das situações onde eu mais gosto dos polarizadores. Os detalhes dentro da água enriquecem bastante a foto, criando ótimo interesse no primeiro plano. Ademais, quem não gosta de ver uma água límpida como esta? Bom enquadramento!

Excellent transparency of the sea with this shallow depth, and the probably deeper part behind the barrier of rocks has a much different color.

Thanks to TrekEarth and your many of wonderful posts that I learnt a informed for a new country. The crystal clarity of the water is just amazing while creative way increasing its beauties while adding a dead tree, rocky shore and green ridges. The silhouettes of mountains and sky are just amazing.

Simple, peaceful beauty, Rui. The bright strips of sand on the far side of the water are an important element of the composition.
