Fantastic sand - I can almost feel its silk surface...
Good colours and fantastic greens on the mountain and in the water...
I would sharpen it a bit though.

Sierra Leone and it's famous beaches... you make me smile! Canoes and white sand is sight... well, after seeing so many of them, I would be curious to head deeper in the country, in villages and forest... :)
But for the photo I think the composition is good, with a good balance between the elements of the scenery: the sea channel with its canoe, the beach, the hill in the background. Even the placement of people is just good. The perspective works well, with your choice of framing, that uses the edging of the sand upper part to direct our eyes to the coming boy and to the whole landscape. The colors are good although the red, blue and yellow are a bit too punchy to my taste while the silhouettes are too far to distinguish the faces and expressions. But at least, this last point gives a furious envy to come closer and have a contact... Well done.

Sierre Leon, is not a country that has had good press in recent years and this photo makes one want to visit. I like the clarity of the white sand and the way people are looking at you. It seems like they wouldn't mind a visit. Nice composition.
