Photographer’s Note
A view from on a hill near Ladybrand. While I was in Lesotho, I was able to cross into South Africa a few times. The terrain was quite different from Lesotho, even though it was only about 15 miles down the road from the border. To the left of this frame, the Escarpment could be seen, where the Drakensburg Mountains rise out of the surrounding area. May marked the beginning of winter down there in the south. Temperatures in the morning were dipping below freezing, and the last leaves were dropping off the trees.

Hello Daniel,
What a wide and savage winter scene ! Very good perspective ! I like the way the haze in the background has added depth to the scene.
Thanks for sharing and greetings,
Eungbong
