Hi Ewa,

I was captured deeply with the look and appearance of the baby. It is so touching. Even with the head portion, I can feel the poverty in the family and I was just thinking again how their future will be. God have mercy on them.

Good use for the rule of third in this picture, excellent POV and lighting control. The DOF is very well done as well. Maybe you should elaborate more on their life to enhanced the feeling to be reviewed from the picture.

La netteté de l'image est très bonne ! J'aurais peut-être cadré la tête du bébé sur la droite au lieu de la gauche, de façon a voir plutôt les habits que le fond qui semble sans intéret, mais c'est une affaire de goût.
Mais c'est un joli coup d'oeil !!

I see that you use this baby in two different posts Ewa. For me this one is the better by the tighter crop and compo, giving more focus to the face. Also a good placement of the little one compowise. Good details, a bit diffucult light with some overexposure to the left side of the face, still a good result.

Hi Ewa,
Thanks for your comments to my photo....it has given me an opportunity to visit your site. I really like this image because firstly it is a good reflection of Africa....a lot of beauty, but a lot of poverty which affects the innocents, like this baby. Secondly, I like the simplicity of the shot, with the portrait against a dark, blurred background, and the off-centred placement works well.
