Photographer’s Note

Rachel, enfant qui porte ici sa tenue d'écolière SOS Villages d'Enfants une ONG qui oeuvre au Togo et dans le monde.
SOS Villages d'Enfants soutient aujourd'hui 35 villages d'enfants SOS dans 21 pays sur 4 continents.
3 en Europe (Roumanie et Bosnie)
12 en Asie (Inde, Népal, Vietnam, Laos, Indonésie et Arménie)
16 en Afrique (Madagascar, Mali, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Togo, Somalie, Rwanda, Maroc et Cameroun)
4 en Amérique Latine (Equateur, Honduras, et Haïti)

Tout le personnel est recruté localement. Les enfants sont élevés dans leur culture, leur religion, leurs traditions.

Les constructions sont réalisées avec les matériaux du pays, dans le respect de l'architecture traditionnelle, par de la main-d'oeuvre locale.

Le soir après l'école, Rachel rentre chez sa maman adoptive LEA, une Soeur et infirmière Togolaise formidable. Elle y rejoint aussi ses frères et soeurs.

Hi Olivier!
A great portrait of this young girl.I love her spontanious smile and big eyes.
Good composition with her position in the frame and good contrast between her nice skintones,the blue dress and the grey backgound.
This thick grey frame is a bit too much imo,anyway its a good shot.

A good portrait, excellent way to bring us to the information in your note. On the picture I think the frame is too heavy, though.
