Photographer’s Note
Arriving in Lomé, the capital of Togo, we have a good view from the cruise ship to the harbour of the city. Beside modern parts you could see the fishing harbour with the traditional boats. Togo means in the local language "land on the water", but the coastline is only 56km long.

Hi Achim,
Very spectacular and impressive shot of this place. The modern harbour is very effective sight, I like the many traditional small boats...the forefront and the contrast between the background give interesting mood. Splendid shot. Have a nice day!

Hi Achim
not a country we see everyday here, the view is hazy but shows a contrast between the traditional lifestyle of these fishermen and this big industry behind.
Have a nice day JY

Hi Achim,
The presence of the people in the boat has an effect of scale. The point of view is allowing us to see the details and colors of the buildings and of the boats. The picture is clear and precise. The good luminosity is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.
