Photographer’s Note

I uploaded this photo as a second to my current theme of "Togo, Africa".

This photo was taken in front of the school I worked in for 10 days two years ago around Easter with fellow High School students, in Agou, Togo.

These are some of Agou school's students with whom I spent a lot of my time there (Denis and Jao for example are the two on the left which you can see most distinctively). For these children, the camera was a magical instrument: they had only rarelly, if ever, seen a camera or been so close to one. They were therefore huphoric when I started taking pictures of them. They were so excited to see themselves on the screen afterwards!

Another attractive picture from Togo, Anne-Sophie. The background could have been a bit more colorful, but that may not be too important in light of the main subject.

I hope you keep posting other pictures from Afrca.

des sourires, des mains qui saluent et s'agitent... aller à l'encontre d'enfants en Afrique offre toujours des moments de joie comme celui-ci. ça donne la pêche et ça motive pour agir en leur faveur.

Photo pleine de jeunesse, gaité, d'enthousiasme. Dommage que l'affiche du fond ne soit pas complètement lisible

Superbe rassemblement de sourires et spontanéité. Bel effet avec les 2 premières mains en premier plan.
