Photographer’s Note
Half-moon pond in the center of Hongcun village hardly needs introduction. Since serving as a one of the mostl easily recognizable locations where the blockbuster Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon was filmed and becoming a UNESCO world heritage object this beautiful small village has become one of Anhui´s main tourist attractions.
Contrary to general information foreigners do not need anymore any kind of permission from Public Safety Bureau to enter this district and foreigners are also allowed to stay overnight in this village.

Hi Pekka.
Simple but very good work with the composition and reflections. Did you use a polariser? I think so and the whole photo looks very good.
Regards.

Hello Pekka,
We'll be visiting Hongcun in a couple of weeks, so your note brings some really good news. Did you stay overnight? If you have other really recent tips about the area, they are welcome, you find my e-mail in my profile page.
Being able to stay here...there's another thing to look forward to!
Thanks.
Benny
