Nice scene you have captured here. Looks very cosy with all the people around the fire. Nice to hear that you meet hospitality on your way. I like the light coming in from the right - enough to give us some nice details.

This is a nice, cosy setting. The warm light is great and the picture has a very off the cuff, relaxed look about it. The glowing fire is a nice touch too, to give warmth and atmosphere to the scene. Very nice work and a great POV.

It's very good Sarju. The low POV, the lighting and the resulted atmosphere is very well captured. The background, the details on the diferent expressions and the perfect composition. Hi Sarju!
I hope you are enjoying your time in India! Seems so, if I read well your blog. You don't have the time to miss Canada, hopefully! ;) I like the cozy atmosphere of your last post. They seem to be friendly, indeed. I like the vivid colors of their clothings, the warm tones on their face. It is really nice to see them all gathered around the fire. I like also your point of view, so low that we get the impression the camera in on the floor. This is a photo that gives warmth to my heart. Thanks!

Your photoreminds me of the evening outside close to the fire,with our shoulders to each other,feeling good and in peace with the world.
The faces are well lit,but not too much,by the fire,zones of light and shades.
I like it

J'aime bien ces photos d'ambiances nocturnes et tu as très bien réussi celle-là! Une exposition parfaite qui conserve très bien cette belle atmosphère chaleureuse autour du feu. Un moment bien capté.

Hello Sarju -

Trekking in India, eh? This is a nice warm image but just a tad dark IMO. Even with the darkness most of your subjects have detail in the faces which is most important.
