Photographer’s Note

During my visit to the Ubud region in central Bali I met this procession on the route, people going to a nearby temple for a religious festivity. Unfortunately my taxi driver could not explain which festival was it.

Bonjour, Flavia.
J'aime beaucoup cette prise spontanée, avec une belle dynamique, de beaux sourires et des gestes amusants. J'aime aussi les forts contrastes naturelles, dus au fort soleil.

Hello Flavia! What a happy little group, these boys are just great, they sure had FUN! It makes me happy besides that some things stay a little the same like when I was there maybe 15 years ago, staying at the same losmen for almost two months ... and we joined some of the processions in the village. Somehow I like the b/w treatment a lot (okay Bali is the island of colors), the white of the their lovely dresses comes out very well this way. Great shot, full of "sunshine" with their smiles.
