Photographer’s Note
Time to say farewell to KL,the affectionate term used for Kuala Lumpur. I have many more shots of this city, but I need to continue with my travelogue as we go to Singapore next. After that it is back to Malaysia, to Johore, my wife's home state, then back to Singapore to fly to Sarawak where we met Alfred and Bill. We will come back to KL only to board the next plane to Australia. So this is really the end of our stay in KL.
This shot is a closer look at the city from the Ampang Lookout,a different perspective from my earlier shot.

Hello Klaudio,
You took a very nice panorama picture about the city.
Excellent moment during this blue hour.
I like the lovely sky suit perfect to the city.
Composition and presentation are very well.
Have a nice weekend,

Hi Klaudio,
such panoramic evening scenes are, at the same time, impressive, emotional, picturesque (because of the myriads of distant lights?) and a little nostalgic. Of course, the clouded sky with its special evening colours added a lot to the mood of the moment!
Very nice capture, indeed :)
Best regards,
and have a nice weekend!

Klaudio, By chance I saw your picture, an excellent capture of the blue hour. Suddenly KL looks more beautiful as it is! Very good composition and execution. The only downside are the twin towers which would look a bit better if you would place them off center.
Best regards Urs

Hello Klaudio,
I can feel your pain... I worked for a year in Northern Sumatra for the red cross. In the weekends I'd sometimes fly to KL because it was only a 50 minute flight. And I just love that city!!!!

Hello Klaudio!
Wonderful skyline and at that time of the evening with fading natural lights, artificial ones popping out here and there, and everywhere, this picture is very attractive and truly beautiful! Have more and more wonderful traveling!
TFS - congratulations!
Best regards,

Hello Klaudio,
impressive shot at the blue hour. I like the vivid sky with it's red, blue and grey tones. BTW I never heard of the singers you mentioned. Are you interested in Central Asian pop or folk music? I bought CD's of Yulduz Usmanova to get a soundtrack for my video show. I like it.
Kind regards,
Roland

Hi Daddo, this is breathtaking view and you still have a ittle bit of good sunset light. Its spectacular how the Petronas towers stands out of the city. Thanks for sharing...Alex

While I was dodging the scorching Pakistani heat you were capturing these beautiful cityscapes in KL. I think you've placed the towers nicely and caught the lights nicely.
Thanks for sharing

Hi Klaudio,
from Lyon, where we have recently arrived from the UK.
I have a view of the city that is not dissimilar to the one you have of KL in this shot, from our friends' flat, looking out under stormy skies.
Very nice shot this one, though I preferred the other. Great sky, marvellous clarity, and those tiny lights like fairy lights.
Hope you and the family are well. I might have time to upload something over the next day or two.
Regards,
Andrew

Hi Klaudio,
Nicely taken early evening capture. The building lights look very pretty and the sky is just spectacular.
I've not been to KL, I didn't realise there was so much water there.
Excellent farewell post.

hi Klaudio
Looks like you have a good guide to tell you all the best spots to find city views of KL. And judging from this POV, you did not have to go far from city.
I am guessing this is from north west of Ampang where Ally also showed a few posts from nearby spot.
Impressive night exposure view and you did it very nicely here for 1/3s.
tfs, bill
p/s too bad your stay in Sarawak was short to see Gawai and I could not take you to the jungle, but next year in June perhaps?
