Photographer’s Note

Arab Street in Singapore has some of the prettiest shop fronts that have escaped the rampant modernization. These houses have been restored and offer a glimpse of what Singapore was like even twenty years ago.Sadly not many streets like this one remain as colonial architecture slowly disappeared to make place for apartment blocks and shopping malls.
Taken on a rainy and overcast day.maybe not a bad day for architecture photography as the shadows are not too strong, at least upon the facades.
