Photographer’s Note

As promised a night shot of my earlier posting of the same place in the center of Bangkok. As you can see, the jam still is there and will not go away till in the early hours to be back before sunrise. There not only is jam but also the noise of all these engines, the people, horns ... it is very difficult to describe this very intense atmosphere. That's the very modern or better future Bangkok later on I will post scenes of the timeless Bangkok

Hello Urs,

A real night picture with a lot bustle through the a lot cars.
This is a world city car and a lot polution.
The horizontal composition, what you here have built, a meticulously perfect picture.

A good night capture, in which you have caught a great action in the movement of the people and in the traffic in these crowded streets.
The luminosity and the colors at this blue hour are very attractive at sight.

Bangkok is a town that I like very much,in spite of the polution and the noise!There are so many little places that are not so modern and still very charming!You have here a superb picture,the sharpness could be improved,but the colors are wonerful!I like the contrast between the blue sky and the golden coors of the lights, the light is wonderful and the high POV very well chosen!Very well done!

Hi Urs,

The colours of rush hour, traffic scene and look at those people along the street! I hate rush hours -either you go early or late.

The never ending traffic in Bangkok is part of their daily life. The Metro did help but down below the chaos and fun goes on. I remember jumping off the cab and took a tuktuk instead - one of the the craziest ride of my life though faster than being stuck in traffic!

So the traffic also changes direction after sunset on Rachaprasong Road...good comparison with your earlier daytime post of the same place. The sky is nice here as well.
