Photographer’s Note
Okay, I lied. It's not Barbados. It's Montserrat, which is not listed in the countries database. Once the destination of rock stars and other celebrities, a volcano devasted the island in 1995 and continues to rumble threateningly. Here you see all that's left of the principal city, Plymouth, now covered with volcanic ash. Image was shot in color, only visible in the shrubs at foreground. This was removed to maintain the mood.
