Coatimundi, which resemble racoons, are plentiful in the rainforest. They're known to wander up to slowing cars who want to snap pictures or feed them, but it's probably best to keep your distance.

Hello Claudia,
With those claws and teeth I think this Coati resembles the wolverine more than a raccoon. I imagine their temper resembles the wolverine or the badger also more than the raccoon, although the three raccoons that visit me in the backyard seem to stand on their hind legs, with arms outstretched, and laugh at me when I talk to them. Their chuckles are humurous...
An excellent catch with this coati, I had never noticed the length of their nose and mouth...
