Photographer’s Note
Another shot from around teh top of Neptuno in Vedado. The building can be seen on the left of the previous shot, and I picked it for the backdrop for a few shots of passing cars. Originally I'd thought this was a Brititsh car, since it's rather reminiscent of some I remember, but the more I look, think it must be a Plymouth, certain characteristics are so distinctive, though I still can't precisely date it. Any ideas anyone?

An interesting imagine. I breath the air of old Cuba. I like the nouance of colors of car and building. I'd crop a bit the right part to avoid to see the other buildin and the sky

Nice shot, the building and the car go really well together.
Maybe would have cropped a bit on the top of the image.

morning richard, this is havana at its best - this is how i imagine that place: once a florishing city with exceptional charm, now - a decaying symbol of a power of mistaken ideas;
great repetitions, with nice catch of an old car;
i really like your post today;
have a nice weekend, jerzy

excellent image, Richard, all blue around!
the building is a great background for the car.
a pity to see such a charming place decayed, but beautiful anyway.
very good shot!

Another very interesting compo from this visit Richard, The not to well maintained building and the car of the 50's is captured and presented very well. Most interesting.

I like the fact that car's colour is almost the same as the building.
BTW - what model british car is this?

Hi Richard - yes, this shot screams Cuba, nice building with a dilapitated charm, and of course the vintage car, man with a cane, and the broken sidewalk that may have caused his injury.

wonderful shot!
when I see a place like this I always wonder why I don't move to Cuba and get away from the clinical shopping-gallery look of the world I live in.
thanks for letting me dream!
