Photographer’s Note

I met two brothers at Parque Céspedes in Santiago. I asked them if it was possible to take some photos of them in the evening then they were playing their instruments? They were a bit surprised about the idea but did agree to meet me at Calle Lino Boza in the evening. I arranged my tripod at a suitable place and the brothers began their performance. The local people opened their doors and gave the brothers some money. After a while a young girls jumped in and started to dance. Her mother thought the girls was destroying everything for me but I told here that it was no problem at all. I couldn't ask for more the girl really improved the picture!

One of the most beautiful photos with music on the streets...

It's so skilfully shot I have my suspicions it was arranged ( not that there is anything wrong with it )...
Naahh.. That cut-off leg (on the far left) - excludes such possibility... :-)))

Regardless... In the ocean of the most dreadful photos with the sound of music - this one sticks out - charmingly

After all - it's Cuba, right ?

Hello Jan Olof,
very nice street scene! I like the composition very much; though it's a pity the man's leg (on the left) is cropped. But maybe it was the only possible POV.
I like this yellow gamma, it reminds me of dark evenings brightened only with the warm yellow light of street lamps.
The little girl dancing is really important and very appropriate in the whole scene :)
