Photographer’s Note

Anyós es un pequeño pueblo de la parroquia de La Massana, en Andorra. Está situado a 1307 metros de altitud, y es destacable la capilla de Sant Cristofol, patrón del pueblo.
Estuve allí tomando fotos con luz de día, pero como el lugar es magnífico y tiene unas excelentes vistas sobre el valle del Valira del Nord y sobre la parroquia de La Massana, decidí volver por la tarde para captar toda esa belleza a la hora azul.
Cuando llegué allí con el sol un poco bajo, me gustó el efecto del contraluz sobre este perro que descansaba tomando el sol, y parecía posar para mí.

El WS es una toma en ángulo abierto de la vista que se disfruta desde este lugar, a la luz del día, donde se puede ver el pueblo de La Massana y el Valle de Arinsal, y con los picos de casi 3000m de altitud que cierran este bello valle.

Anyós is a small village in the parish of La Massana, in Andorra. It is placed to 1307 meters of altitude, and there is prominent the Sant Cristòfol’s chapel, patron saint of the village.
I was there taking some photos in the daytime, but as the place is magnificent and has a few excellent sights on the valley of the Valira del Nord and on the parish of La Massana, I decided to return in the evening to catch all this beauty at the blue hour.
When I came there with the a bit low Sun, I liked the effect of the cross-light on this dog that was resting sunbathing, and he seemed to pose for me.

The WS is a capture in a wide angle of the sight that is enjoyed from this place, at the daytime, where it is possible to see the village of La Massana and Arinsal's Valley, and with the peaks of almost 3000m of altitude that they close this beautiful valley.

Hola Josep, he seguido la serie que nos presentado en los ultimos dias con especial atencion. Las composiciones no son del estilo tradicional, mas bien son composiciones graficas. Todo el panorama esta reducido a los elementos basicos: cielo/montaña/meseta, y muy importante el perro en en primer plano.

Je crois me souvenir de ce toutou que j'ai vu sur une de tes précédentes photos sur le lieu mais avec son maître... Joli contraste de lumière avec cette plaine qui se dévoile à peine et cet avant plan ensoleillé. Les reliefs sont superbes. Merci aussi pour cette belle et éclatante photo en WS, le point de vue est superbe et l'image d'une très bonne netteté. Merci Josep.

Bonsoir Josep,
Quel éclairage!, c'est la classe. Le cadrage qui utilise la route pavée en diagonale est bien vu. Le chien est l'attraction de l'image, je suppose qu'il t'appartient. Il est intéressant de découvrir le village, discret dans la photo, ce qui constitue une originalité créative. Rien d'évident, il faut regarder et deviner. félicitations.

Au premier abord, je n'avais pas vu le village car il est dans une zone sombre, mais j'apprécie le beau panorama de montagnes et le rayon de lumière sur ce brave toutou!

Otra preciosa toma de las montañas de Andorra esta vez con una gran perspectiva y profundidad, tu POV desde el cual podemos ver la vista panorámica de Anyós y que incluye el perro tranquilamente descansando esta muy bueno. Lo único que encuentro es que la veo un poco oscura y no se delimita muy bien el pueblo con sus alrededores, me atreví hacer un WS.

Olá Josep,
muito bonita essa cidade encravado nbo vale dessas montanhas, e mesmo a sombra forte não atrapalhou a captura. Gostei muito do cachorro a apreciar a paisagem também. Ótimo trabalho amigo.

The late light is wonderful, particularly on the mountains where it highlights the way they overlap each other as they recede into the distance. The dog is a nice extra touch.

Para mim, a imagem do WS2 ficou muito mais bonita na medida em que se vê bem a povoação e as montanhas. Gostei também da vista de dia. O lugar é lindissimo.

I always break out in laughter when I read "anyós" in your note! ((:
There's a beautiful view on the valley from this point, the high mountains in the background look very impressive. You had perfect lights here that made the mood of the photo a bit mystic!
(At first I thought there was a lion in the right side of the photo! :D)

The dog sums up the serenity in the shot. The low light is good & creates nice layers of the mountains as they recede in the BG. The village nestling in the valley is fully in shade. Well done my friend!

Le silence de la montagne est encore plus beau lorsque les oiseaux se sont tus.
Quelle douce et agréable sérénité se dégage à travers ces compositions.
La ville se niche douillettement au creux de la vallée avec délice avec cet environnement.

Exact, une image faite de sérénité avec ce superbe paysage où les vallonements successifs constituent autant de plans bien délimités. Le ciel est de toute beauté ace ce petit nuage sur la droite. le chien, bien situé dans l'image, apporte une agréable touche de vie.

It was a very clever idea to include the dog and the paved road into the composition. They brighten the picture up. But the main elements are the marvelous green mountains and the nice village. Perfectly good job!
