Photographer’s Note
The next photo in my on the road series from out current trip, this time from Boppard on the Rhine River. Were stayed in Boppard for a few days last week and didn't do too well with the weather. On the evening of this photo we'd gone for a walk after dinner and luckily I had my camera with me. A storm started rolling in creating the incdedibly dark sky behind the still bright building along the water front so I snapped it just before the rain hit and hightailed it back to our hotel a few metres away.
The photo has not had proper editing.

Hi Ian,
Wow, that is a black sky, no place to be without an umbrella at the ready.
The building looks superb, I've always liked lit foregrounds against a threatening sky and this one is just that.
Excellent quality too, a very sharp image, good POV and nicely composed.
You've been away a long time, lucky bast**d.
Regards
Peter
