Photographer’s Note
An early morning view from the steps of the Venetian fort on the tip of the peninsula of Paleochora-a most fabulous remote town on the southern coast of Crete.
The right hand side has the harbour & five minutes walk to the west is a wonderful, soft sandy beach.
In the town are many small cafes that spill onto the street, they serve frappe, Raki & great food---but don't think about taking a holiday here---you won't like it---really---i don't know why i mentioned it---it's really quite dull---it actually rained everyday---not to mention the local witches---they turned me into a newt!---Stay away---Paleochora is all mine!!!!!

Sounds like a great place for a holiday to me!!
It's quite amazing how quickly the sun gets up in the western Med not to mention the temperatures! Beautifully natural colours and a well chosen POV with the town receding into the distance and the misty mountains beyond.
Delightful, Roberto
