It started dark and green...
Then some blue appeared...
And quite suddenly red was there too...

And if, finally, Iceland was nothing but colors ?

Stephane I am glad you are up there having a blast capturing landscape colors. The green is very attractive with the lighter shades on the mount. I feel that the red tones are very dominant in this setting and would suggest a cropping of the bottom of the photo to make a square photo shape. Just my feeling on this one...not trying to tell you how to shoot your photos...hope you understand...thoughts?

Si ce ce n'est pas toute l'Islande, en tout cas l'Islande C'EST des couleurs, façonnées par l'histoire et les volcans comme ici et dans tes photos précédentes.

It's a very magnificent place... the three shots are really amazing. I like the form of the mountain, here is the mysty mood in the top of the mountain and, as you say, the colors, the contrast between the red and green, the strong expression of this landscape. It's a shot very beautiful! Thanks

une jolie composition par plan et j'aime assez l'idée de ce rouge et du vert qui ne se rejoignent pas. La compo est bien pensée avec cette place laissé au premier plan.

Typical Icelandic landscape Stephane where you bring forward a strong effect by including the large part of the foreground combined with the greenish mountaing in the back. You had even some fine effect from the light here.

des couleurs assez étrange pour un paysage ce vert ce rouge qui donnent une photo bizarre mais une nature sauvage c'est sur un cadrage bien vu pour l'équilibre des couleurs

I have to say I did not know what to say about your Iceland photos, somehow, they lack your Je ne se quois for me, but this is striking-Sort of an alien landscape, great colour-Though the sky is a bit weird, but that adds to the strange landscape. It makes me cold, though. I can't stand anything below 60 degrees farenheit.....

Quel autre titre choisir en effet avec des couleurs aussi extraordinaires!
Ta compo est très belle aussi car tout est parfaitement bien dosé.
Je trouve juste que le ciel est un peu blanc. Tu as peut-être saturé les couleurs en post traitement ce qui ne réussit pas aux blancs. Dans ce cas, si tu as un logiciel qui le permet (photoshop par exemple), le mieux est d'isoler le ciel et de ne saturer que les autres parties, ou de ne saturer que certaines couleurs. C'est ce que je fais en général!

C'est vari que ces couleurs sont formidables avec en plus un ¨POV très bien choisi qui donne de la profondeur et permet d'apprécier la "texture" de ces pierres rouges. Des contrastes un peu forcés comme tu l'écris mais cela donne aussi un très bel effet, un effet plus fort.

It's incredible beautiful and diferent from everything we see in TE. As you, I also like that diference. Not so powerful but still desolate. The sequence of colors is fascinating and the green shape is kind of elegant.

I find the structure in foreground very nice, the a lot small stones and lightbrown colour make this picture lovely.

Wow Iceland one of my goals in my life.

I like the colors so diferent and so intense, I would liek to see more blue in the sky in stead of this with clouds but we can not change the weather so this is perfect

I like the textures too, the stones with it color and the mountain and the soft of the surfes is amazing

l'islande, c'est aussi les couleurs, tu le soulignes bien avec cette photo, végétation rases mais souvent très teintées.
Une compo verticale bien cadrée, une excellente répartition des couleurs, un vue qui montre toute l'aridité de ces terres.
