Photographer’s Note
Hi dear all,
This week, Filipe (Sacavem), Goncalo (Bluejeans) and me did a small meeting in the Nations Park to take a coffee and some pictures
The support to the camera was border of the 'lake'.
On right side we can see a row with all flags of the world.
In background the Vasco da Gama Shopping Center
On right side a famous restaurante with delicious dishes
I hope you like it !
Parque das Nações (English: Nations' Park) is a leisure, commercial and residential area in Lisbon, Portugal. It covers an extensive area in northeastern Lisbon next to the Tagus estuary, formerly used for mainly industrial purposes. The area underwent a tremendous transformation in the 1990s when it was chosen as the location for the Expo '98 World Exhibition. After the exhibition, the area got its current name (although it is not uncommon for the Portuguese to still refer to it as "Expo"), and more transformations occurred such as the new Vasco da Gama shopping mall, the Lisbon's International Fair complex, hotels and many new office and residential buildings. Many attractions built for the Expo '98 remained and keep drawing visitors, such as the Oceanarium, one of the world's biggest aquariums. An estimated 15.000 people currently live in the Nations' Park, which is halved between the Lisbon and Loures municipalities, effectively splitting the local government of the area. There is a movement of citizens requesting the Lisbon's half to annex the one belonging to Loures, thereby integrating the entire area within the Lisbon municipality.

Hello Aires,
The deep blue makes a fine background for the artificially lit details, creating this fine low light capture!
Sharp fine details and good colour reproduction, and the reflections add another dimension...
A balanced composition with fine lines!
Greetings,

Bom dia Aires,

Bom aproveitamento do espelho d'água, nesta hora do lusco-fusco. A torre que parece uma vela ficou com um bom protagonismo.
Cumprimentos,
Francisco

Hello Aires
Wonderful BLue Hour photo.
The most outstanding quality of this shot is its focus and sharpness of detail.
difficult to find any flaw
I also like your choice of POV, down low, looking up at the tall structures.
Very well done
Craig
