Photographer’s Note

La Piazza della Libertà è tra i centri più visitati a San Marino. Imponente, al centro della Piazza, la Statua della Libertà dono della Contessa Otilia Heyroth Wagener nel 1876. Sullo sfondo il Palazzo Pubblico risale al 1380 ed è la sede del Consiglio Grande e Generale (il Parlamento sammarinese). Ricostruito in stile neo-gotico alla fine del XIX secolo, il discorso di inaugurazione fu tenuto dal poeta Giosuè Carducci.

Very nice shot of this wonderful art and architecture side-by-side against the vibrant blue sky. Good POV from below gives both a sense of height. The light is well-managed. Well done.
