Photographer’s Note
If you visit Istanbul, be sure to stroll through the colorful Spice Market, a bazaar filled with fragrances from the Far East. From aromatic spices and snacks to flavorful dried teas, this attraction is definitely worth a visit. I was amazed to see how many different types (and prices!) there were for saffron, and even more impressed to see how just one thread of this precious spice could color a cup of water.
An added bonus is that it's free to look!

Hello Claudia,
I remember once before you posted an image taken from the Spice Market and how colorful it was. This image is no different as the rich hues and textures makes the shop a very interesting study. The aromas of all these spices combined must be overpowering,
Good Work...

Hi Claudia
A beautiful shot. The patterns of spices lead the eye to the shopkeeper and the colourful shelves that surround him. Well seen.
