Cette Cadillac 1965 se confondait avec le bleu du ciel. Cette couleur était disponible à cette époque. Cependant le blanc, le noir, le rouge, le jaune, le vert, le turquoise et le bleu royal étaient plus populaires.

This 1965 Cadillac fits well with the blue of the sky. This color was available at that time. However the white, the black, the red, the yellow, the green, the turquoise and the royal blue were more popular 45 years ago.

c'est une voiture mythique que la cadillac.
Ta compo est superbe en montrant l'arrière si spécifique de cette voiture, en plus bleu sur bleu - super !

La prise de vue permet d'admirer cette Cadillac bleue 1965. Les arbres cadrent bien la voiture. L'image est claire et nette. Le bleu du ciel fait un bon contraste avec le bleu de l'auto. Bonne soirée.

Another one to your impressive collection of old cars in the countryside, glamorous despite their not so good state. The title is very appropriate, the painting of the car matches the sky, but the green of Spring also contributes to the beauty of the photo.

Cette fois-ci tu nous a déniché une vieille Cadillac, à la voir le long du chemin on peut penser qu'elle est tombée en panne à cet endroit et qu'on l'a laissée là. De toute façon elle est encore jolie et bien présentée dans ce décor de printemps.

Et dire que j`avais 1 ans quand elle était neuve. Bleu sur bleu avec ses mags bien chromés. La rouille commence a le grugé. Super détails des bouleaux.

Interesting match between the car and the sky, but for me, the real star of the show is the delicate detail of newly leafing trees. That car has seen some salt!!

Hi Denis,
As you mentioned in your note I don't recall seeing many old caddys in blue.
This one makes a striking contrast to the green of the spring time setting.
Love how you catch its handsome profile in this warm light that brings out the lingering shine to its chrome wheels.

Hello Denis, When I looked at the thumbnail I recognised this as being an old Cady, built long before the fuel crisis, I also noticed it is LHD, must be American made, were they ever built in Canada? One either loves or hate these "Yank Tanks" as they were once known in Australia.
Nice shot with good natural looking colour $ excellent clarity.

It is amazing to see those old cars, and comparing with modern vehicles!
And I'm not thinking so much of the design as the philosophy behind building cars...
This was quite an eye-catcher in it's time, some will probably say it still is..!
