Photographer’s Note
Alaska is a country of changing moods and contrasts - and a landscape photographer's paradise. Nature's colours and creations just blew me away when I visited in the Fall of '07: this shot is of the Chilkat River, at the end of our riverboat wildlife safari, near Haines - we didn't see many animals or bald eagles, but the experience of just 'being there' will last me a lifetime.

Hi Mate,
Very pretty shot, the clouds clinging to the hills and the patches of sun look great. I'd like to have seen what was behind the clouds though, I'm thinking, mountains.
As for the title, a bit thin on colours old boy but I'll give you the flowers in the rockery and the blue tarp on the boat.
Cheers
Pete

Hi Jeff,
Haven't seen you around in a while - welcome back. Nice shot of what looks like a pretty rugged wilderness area. Nice details in the foreground and the colors are great. Well done and TFS. Gerald
