Photographer’s Note
The Oregon Coast is known for its rugged coastline. Haystack Rock (pictured here), at 235 feet high, is on Cannon Beach and is the third largest coastal monolith in the world. At low tide you can explore the tidepools filled with sea anemones, starfish, crabs and other sea life.
Conditions weren't optimal for photographs in late April, but I like this for composition.

Hello Claudia,
The composition is indeed exquisite, and the exposure flawless. The contrast of the glass-like surface of the wet sand and the waves breaking on the shore is dramatic. Well done!

Hello Claudia,
A really nice place for a beach stroll!
The misty effect is making a dream-like composition with the couple at sharp focusing.
Nice atmosphere!
The huge rock with its reflection and the soft foreground are giving impact to your persepective.
Great job.
Regards.

I like this grey atmosphere. The two human figures are a good braking point in the picture.

Hello Claudia,
The conditions couldn't have been too bad, because this is a fine photo with good light and very nice, soft colors. The steep rocks make me think of world-famous areas in Vietnam or China. The two persons contribute very nicely to the composition and the general atmosphere.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi Claudia
This is nice composition on this shot of Haystack Rock. I was there a couple weeks ago and the weather was about the same. I was on a trail heading back from a view point and herd a noise and turned around to find my self looking at a large Elk about 15 feet from me. I wasn't expecting that. It is a great place to spend the day and get some nice scenic shots.
Good job and TFS

Hi Claudia
Very nice choice and composition, there are the waves and the reflection despite the rather not so ideal weather. The couple boost DOF tremendously. Colors are a bit flat due to the weather, but the sharpness is fine. Well done
Best regards
Urs
