Excellent ! J'adore les graffitis. Le contraste peut-être un peu fort. Mais la composition vraiment plaisante.

Hello Stéphane! VERY photogenic and a photographer's heart beats a little faster. I have just some weeks ago strolled through an industrial site in the greater Zurich area (Winterthur) where a friend rents one of THESE lofts and we had a brunch together but after a while I could not resist and I said that I would go taking some outside photos, left and forgot the time :)))) and returned after more than an hour later ... what kind of guest am I????????? I wonder how they got these graffitis to the wall, this seems very high up ... Interesting work ... I enjoy the trip, I really do! Enjoy your Saturdaymorning ... Barbara.

Celle-là aurait aussi pu symboliser la crise, il y a des couleurs, de la netteté, mais au-delà quelque chose d'inquiétant, j'aime beaucoup.

Never having been to NYC I don't see the typicality of this image so it is new to me. It's not one of the usual views we get to see. As with most NY architecture there is a strong graphic feel and the grafitti enhances rather than detracts. The only minor niggle is the mast disappearing out of the top. I'm sure it was too high to include, but my eye keeps going to it and being led out of the image. Nevertheless another strong image.

Can't believe it's finished...I'll miss it. I like the pyramid effect here. Quite diferent from the ones found in Egypt. No plans, just lay one thing upon each other. Not perfect, but it looks fine indeed. Superb composition.

Bonjour Stéphane,

Les tagueurs là bas sont aussi équilibristes ou alpinistes apparemment !!! Tu termines ta série en beauté, je ne pourrais certainement pas y habiter mais en tous les cas pour la photo c'est une ville qui inspire. L'image est harmonieuse et bien équilibrée je trouve avec une très belle lumière donnant des jeux d'ombres intéressants. Ces réservoirs sont vraiment étonnants. Merci pour cette visite Stéphane.

Bonsoir, c'est peut-être la vue la plus originale que j'ai jamais vue sur New York. On dirait une page de BD. J'aime beaucoup le graphisme très pur ainsi que les couleurs sublimes.

Such a great time, huh, Stephane? NYC is a place to be, indeed, and seems to be an awesome photographic subject, the whole city.
The light was fantastic on all photos of your travelogue. This is another image that looks like a comics strip, the pastels and the high contrast look are stunning.

Alors ca y est, c'est fini NY??
Meme si je l'ai pris en court de route, j'ai bien apprecié le voyage plus le petit detour par la matrice. Pour celle ci j'ai un peu de mal a trouvé mes mots. Oh elle me plait.... c'est juste que je suis un peu en panne. En tout cas sur celle ci ton cadrage reste plus generaliste, c'est vertical, c'est contrasté, c'est abandonné, c'est étonnant de voir dans une ville comme NY de telles vestiges de la grande ère industrielle, il faut donc croire que le nouveau se batit au milieu de l'ancien, ca lui donne une ame.......
Merci pour le voyage, c'est toujours un plaisir.

Almost apocalyptic Stephane...the old building, the grafitti, the dull colours, the old water tank...looks like Gotham city...was it not NYC (Manhattan to be precise) in Bill Finger's mind when he created Gotham? Very different & unique view..typically yours

Fantastiques ces bâtiments, encore une fois j'aime voir New York avec tes yeux mais il semble que ce soit la dernière de la série ?

Je ne sais pas si tu as vu les photos d'environnement industriel de Jasmis, c'est un peu le même genre mais en général en noir et blanc !

Cet énorme mastodonte en briques, ça pourrait être des logements après tout ?

Intriguant... Et impressionnant !

Je viens de me rendre compte que j'avais raté pas mal de chose ces derniers jours et notamment un nouvel objectif, qui a mon sens, connaissant tes photos devrait te plaire ;o))
Je commence par celle-ci, tu devines pourquoi!!
Il est toujours étonnant de constater qu'une vielle aussi dynamique puisse conserver intact des traces d'un autre temps. Tant mieux pour les photographes cela des contrastes superbes.

There are not very much such photographs on TE. That's a pity, because the world is not only the beauty, but also such views like that.
Although, to think more about this picture we can come to the conclusion that the view presented by this picture is beautiful too :-)
