Cloud Waves, Walpole WA Photo

Photographer’s Note

The reflection of these bands of high cirrus clouds in the still waters of Deep River, at Walpole, on Western Australia's south coast, reminded me of breaking waves rolling towards a beach: I must get back to this river for some kayaking and fishing sometime - and some more photography!

I like the expansive feel of this large square format shot that features clouded reflections. Great details and I think the grasses in the foreground left add a sense of depth to this fine image. TFS. Gerald

Nicely spotted, the reflection of the clouds is fantastic, great colours.

Good spotting for the reflection of the clouds, sometimes we walk around looking up at the clouds we miss such opportunities. Beautiful vibrant colours in the surrounding landscape, well composed. TFS
