Photographer’s Note
Peace and tranquility over the Serpentine River as the sun rose on this West Australian autumn morning: the following day, I launched my kayak from this same spot and enjoyed a leisurely 2-hour paddle down the river to the nearby Peel Estuary, and the sister river mouth of the Harvey River.

Jeff,
Your composition and POV are great here using the piers to create diagonals through the shot. The reflection adds nice depth and balance to the shot. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF.

Hello Jeff,
You seem to be getting up early a lot lately. Certainly paid off with this capture. Not even a ripple to spoil the reflection.
Interesting POV and the composition is good too. Good use of the wharf and trees, nicely balanced frame.
Regards
Pete
