Photographer’s Note

Josephine Falls are located in the Wooroonooran ( what a funny name - 6 vowels 'o' .... ) National Park, 75 km south from Cairns, Queensland, and situated at the foot of the Mount Bartle Frere. After I spent one full day in the Great Barrief Reef, visiting the rainforest is something unusual, amazing, unique. The rainforest is so beautiful and the many creeks, waterfalls, boulds, flowers.
It's a must to go to the rainforest. I loved to walk around, stop, look the nature, the power of the water which gives richness to the people and animals. Swimming here is a real pleasure, very gratifying !

Hola Roser,
no és gens fàcil fer aquesta foto, per la llum canviant que comporta problemes amb l'exposició.
Però has aconseguit un resultat molt correcte, la llum funciona en positiu afegint unes boniques ombres sobre l'aigua sedosa per la llarga exposició, i tot envoltat per una vegetació frondosa i molt agradable.
La foto és molt maca.

An interesting picture. You had a good idea, but the water almost cannot be seen, bot because of the perfect framing but the shutter speed. The water flow is almost washed out. There are too many stops between the trees in the FG and the water. The aperture is correct for the trees and the stones, but not the water. Only in the FG you can see a small pond of water because this area is a bit darker then the area where the river flows.

I would like to give you an useful advise, what to do, but to be frank, I have some problems to understand your exposure readings F1 and 2 seconds. One thing is clear if it really is 2 seconds, that was way too long. F1 I do not know this aperture. I'm even not clear what kind of camera you used.

Except the river blow out, your picture is fine in evey other technical aspect with fine sharpness and perfect DOF.
