Photographer’s Note
Flinders Bay is a wonderful place located just to the west of Cape Leeuwin. This is the SouthWestern most part of Australia. It is also the place where the South and the Indian Ocean meet.
The cape you see in this picture is exactly where 96 whales were put back into the water after having been saved from stranding onto Augusta's nearby beach in 1986.
This picture was taken from the beach of the Flinders Bay camping... I highly recommend this camping spot to anyone travelling in the region (5 stars for the nature lover!).

Hi Eric,
a very beautiful capture of this interesting place with a wonderful contrast of shadows and light. These impressive trees I have never seen before, the place seems to be very attractive indeed. TFS!
Warm regards

Salut Eric,
J'aime beaucoup la luminosité sur ta photo. Les couleurs froides mettent en valeur la partie ensoleillée. Bien vu !
A bientôt

Salut Eric,
Très jolie lumière avec beaucoup de profondeur de champ ainsi que dans les couleurs. Je pense que tu dois aimer les opportunités que t'a donné ton séjour australien.
Amitiés
Marc

Hi Eric,
Amazing to think that the next land south is Antarctica because life thrives here. It looks like a drab day, but the light catches the green land perfectly making it a shot well worth sharing!
all the best
Lee
