Photographer’s Note
This is a scanned photo from film (Kodak 400 ISO) taken with a Nikon F65 and Tamron 18-200 Aspherical lens. This was taken onboard a ferry crossing of our Foveaux Strait between the South Island of New Zealand and Stewart Island which is now our newest National Park.The crossing was started in 25 -30 knots of wind and the catamaran we were on had just begun to get into smoother waters allowing me to get out and take the photo.It is a bit grainy but does record the moment as I remembered it.
