Photographer’s Note
Manizales in Zona Cafetera (coffee region). Manizales is the capital of the Caldas department and has long been an important center of the region's coffee trade. I didn't find Manizales particularly interesting or beautiful; it was the nature and coffee (of course!) the reason why I went there.
Walking up and down its hilly streets I come across a food market where this image was taken. I have never seen so many bright colours put together per square meter!
