Série sobre minha Viagem ao PERU - América do Sul - O Ponto mais alto do trajeto Cusco-Puno, durante minha viagem de um dia e só de ida para visitar o Lago Titicaca - De 06 a 22 de Setembro de 2007 - nº 027 !

LA RAYA - BORDER OF THE DEPARTMENTS OF CUSCO AND PUNO - PERU - SOUTH AMERICA

We left CUSCO on a tour bus early in the morning! Our final destination would be PUNO, with a whole day ahead of us, with many stops along the way to visit interesting towns, ruins and to enjoy all the nature and culture around! LA RAYA was the highest altitude we would reach (4313masl), right in the border of the departments of CUSCO and PUNO. 178 km south of CUSCO.

Hello Ney,
An interesting and varied set of articles for the tourists to spend their hard earned cash on. Well worth it to admire the beautiful landscape in the background. A good daily life shot with the bonus of that beautiful mountain scenery. Very good colours and sharpness.

My dream is to travel to Peru..This shot is quite different with a great contrast of the snowy mountains in the background and the touristic shopping in the foreground..I like the combination,it is impressive with many details to enjoy..

Amazing setting for this souvenir shop!
Impressive surroundings and the naked landscape tells about the altitude...
I notice the mix of furry animals and original local handicraft, the display is captured with sharp details and vivid colours!

We find here in Belgium the same attire with people out of Peru.
Very colourfully picture good presentation too.

a typical scene (from modern day Andes): the local commercial wares laid out for tourists against the backdrop of the majestic mountains. I bet, the traveling experience must have been quite different at the time when conquistadors arrived ;)

Very colorful and picturesque, a lot of nice traditional things (those hats, caps and gloves look great and the toys are adorable !), on the BG of the snow-covered mountains, with the blue sky above. Excellent POV. I'd like to visit that bazaar, I must confess...

Olá Ney,
Terá talvez um certo ar de "instantâneo de turista", mas se formos realmente muito modestos, quase todas as nossas fotos aqui o são. No entanto, gosto imenso desta justaposição, muito natural, do artesanato colorido dos Andes como 1º plano dos ditos cujos. A sombra parece ajudar a dar destaque à banca sem necessidade de desfocar o fundo, o que seria quase um sacrilégio.
