Photographer’s Note
Saturday, TE meeting will starts soon.
After an early wake up to catch the blue hour around the piazza san Marco, the clouds are quickly turning the sky into ugly grey.
Bad start for pictures!
Back to the hotel, breakfast and then, direction to the vaporetto.
Some blue stars to appear slowly, and so, looking to these lines, I took the widest view I could to show them, and include some landmark, here the San Giorgio Maggiore church, that I pictured very often that week end!

Hi Didier,
Ah, i saw this one and liked it from the moment i saw it. It are those clouds what make the picture here, like the tower is releasing them as a kind of smoke...great effect and perfect use of your wide-angle.
Hope you found some good ones among the ones we took this weekend...
Take care,
Henk

Hello Didier,
oh I can´t help commenting photos like this, I always enjoy a large portion of sky with little subject, and especially when the clouds are in favourable formation ;-) nice done!
Take care, Ivana

Bonjour Didier

Belle photo!

Salut Didier, this is an excellent choice of POV with the wide sky and very little FG. The texture of the clouds is magnificent and yet the DOF very clean throughout the image. Congratulations, Lisa.

Salut Didier,
Amicalement, Christian

Hello Didier,
An unusual presentation of Venice where the clouds are the main subject.
Still the skyline of Venice is an asset to the lovely composition.
Lovely clouds formation and well presented in this neat frame.
Well done.

Ouaip vu les nuages c'etait une bonne idee d'opter pour ce cadrage, dommage pour la lumiere quand meme, ou plutot son absence.

Hello Didier,
I like this low skyline with this beautiful sky above. Good POV with good light, beautiful colours and details. It almost looks like the sky is moving. Great work!

Hi Didier,
Given the overcast conditions you did well to choose this wide-angle vertical compo and give as much space as possible to the sky. The clouds have the appearance of a rather floppy, diaphanous balloon impaled on the spire of San Giorgio Maggiore!

Great expanse of sky with staggered formation makes for a different and impressive image . Very well seen and captured Didier.

justly, you have given so much space to this endless sky that gives a marvelous depth to the image. This is a photo that only a good photographer with so much experience can do. Compliments!

Bonsoir Didier,
J'aime bien ce cadrage original avec cet espace démesuré laissé au ciel, il donne une grande sensation d'immensité. J'aime beaucoup également la texture des nuages.

Bonjour Didier,
It is a beautiful imgage regardless of the weahter condition, actually I like how the clouds give this image depth, I'm glade you choose to include much of the sky and cloud. the vertical format help with the depth too. and yes unfortunately the light is not great for the view of city, it looks more subdue compare to the top part of the image. Regardless it is still a very impressive POV that gives great impression of the Venice we all love.
Nice to have you around and thanks for having me on you list. I'm in good company. Have a good evening.
Way
