Photographer’s Note

The "Roud Bréck" as we call the bridge here in Luxembourg (official name: Pont Grand-Duchesse Charlotte) connects Luxembourg city to the district of Kirchberg. Its height is 74m and it traverses the valley of Pfaffenthal and the river Alzette. The bridge was realised in 1965 and its total length is 355m.
I think the photo makes it evident why the bridge is called "Red Bridge" here in Luxembourg.

Hello Edouard,
I like a lot the effect that you obtained desaturating tha landscape, leaving only the red bridge.
Very nice the POV on the little Churh on the right and the bridge above all. Congratulation.

with the desaturation and the high POV,the forest appears like a jungle,with a church inside,and also a bridge!Very stange,but beautiful!I wonder from where you took this picture!

Why do I like it?
1. I know the place
2. You've higlighted the colour very well
3. You've shown great shades of tthe grey green:)
4. The church down there is so small comparing to the bridge.

La technique employée est très spectaculaire et met bien en valeur ce beau pont. Bien vu et bien réalisé.

Bonsoir Edouard,

La désaturation met en évidence le pont rouge. Les arbres cadrent bien le pont. La prise de vue dirige notre regard vers la colline en arrière-plan ce qui donne de la profondeur à la photo. L'éclairage semble bon. Bonne soirée.
