Hi Roger,

Wonderful view of Siena. I had no time to visit Siena in my last Italian journey. Splendid composition here, everything in the right place. Typical italian tower, so slender, and all the houses in one colour - i like it so much in Irtalian cities. Impressive sky with so me birds.

Hello Roger,
Good use of the vertical format to emphasise the height of the tower, which stands out well against the rather stormy looking sky. The composition has a pleasing balance to it with the tower well placed. Very nice tones and textures well rendered.

This is a very well composed capture with sharp fine details!
The buildings in front lead nicely up to the impressive tower, that stands out on the background of dark clouds...
The colour palette is attractive with the different hues of brown in the old buildings!

j'aime la grande sveltesse de la tour, qui ressort des toits des maisons dans un fort effet de verticalité.
Le cadrage est parfait, légèrement décentré, avec un bon contraste graphique des éléments et avec un ciel nuageux magnifique.

La prospettiva viene assicurata dal contrasto tra luci ed ombre, che evita l'appiattimento dell'immagine.

Salut Roger!
Heureusement j'ai été en Italie et j'ai pu visiter "Siena" dans une des régions italiennes plus belles!
La photo est très bonne! La netteté, la luminosité et les couleurs sont excellentes! Le format vertical a été une choix parfaite! La compo est superbe avec la tour de la "grande piazza" très bien placée dans l'image! Les autres éléments (bâtiments en bas et le ciel nuageux en haut) sont intéressants aussi grace à la composition bien faite!

il fallait bien un ciel tourmenté pour ce cadrage, avec une tour aussi grande qu'impressionante, le ciel prend de l'importance et un ciel sans nuage aurait été ennuyeux

Le ciel est tourmenté et donne, avec ses quelques oiseaux tout le ton et l'ambiance à ta photo.

J'aime beaucoup l'avant plan avec toutes ces petites maisons agencées dans un certain désordre.

I personally like those cloudy skies. I think they add a lot to the compo, bringing an interesting dramatism. Well thought composition with the tower on the right in this vertical framing. Well done!

very nice view of this beautiful tower. light is soft and perfect to show details, I liked the framing and the contrast of the building agaist the dark sky, that birds added life too. I wanted to know this place in 2009 but the life phohibited me to do that, maybe in the next years.. TFS
