Photographer’s Note

I thought this railway viaduct worth a second shot from the other side. Same day as yesterday, but with a different group of walkers, and different light. The narrowing of the canal near the walkers is for an aquaduct over a stream. beyond, under the arch, is a lock, at the time filled with rubble, and a concrete top to prevent accidents from kids playing. Now restored to working order again, for a cross Pennine waterway route.

what a nice capture, I like the farmers in this shot, very rural and very nice at the same time, very well caught and the morning mist too

I love the composition through the trees and this muddy atmosphere. Looking the man that walkinng through it and wandering why he don't use the grass like the other two:-)
I like the natural colours and light.

Everything about this picture is perfect. You've found an awesome scene, photographed it with a perfect composition, and exposed perfectly for beautiful, subdued colors. Nice work choosing Kodachrome!

Again a wonderful angle for taken this picture Richard, the opening with far view is very nice, also the three walkers is nice addition, also the composition and it perspective are great.
