Photographer’s Note
I believe this photo could have been taken in most places around the world - two musicians try to make a living playing music for people passing by at the pavement.
Some like to listen and gives money in return - but most people pretent not hearing.

Hi Jeppe,
Many of these people are desemployed. Life is not easy mainly in a very cold day. Good composition, beautiful colors and light.

HEllo, Jeppe--
Nice work here, i like the way you captured the two separate reactions to the musicians--the appreciative payment and the ignoring passerby. It was a fleeting moment, for sure, but it would have been nice if you had been standing a step to the left so that the black vertical would be unobscured, but as it is you did nice to employ the angle of the lean and violin of the man to lead into the frame, ultimately ending at the bokehed lady in the foreground.
Thanks!

Hi Jeppe. You have an interesting alignment of the people in your picture that also helps with the depth. The bright yellow wall adds contrast with the people standing in front of it. Lastly the person in motion gives it dynamics. tfs Jeppe.

HI Jeppe, this one is a good composition, very classic with the OOF figure in the fg, and flat colors to fill the frame.

Nice line, color and use of space in this photograph. I like the way you have filled up the empty space in the right forground with the pedestrian.
You also managed to capture a donor, so you captured the three main subjects (musicians, donor, pedestrian) well with good timing.
It is also well saturated and sharp.
Great Job.

Interesting street shot, Jeppe. I think the timing is very good to have the indifferent older lady in the foreground, and the musicians surrounding the money-donating guy. The yellow wall makes a vivid, yet non-intrusive background. Nice capture.

Hi Jeppe,
A good 'on the fly' compo, with passing by woman blurred, musicians in action, and music lover(he has a music shop bag?) giving money...vivid colors and good focus... Excellent timing in capturing this scene.

The yellow background very good Jeppe for effect and more focus to the street artists. Not sure of the passing woman - but it seem still to balance the compo. Interesting work.

Hej Jeppe,
Rigtig godt billede fra dagligdagen; de to musikere og manden der lige giver penge og det var også rigtig godt at du fik kvinden med. Den gule bygning er meget flot som baggrund.
Hilsen,
Lars

Hi Jeppe,
Indeed, although this could have been shot in many places of the world the reactions of passersby are usually about the same. I like how you have captured the one man in the act of giving and the passerby in the act of ignoring. This is not to criticize the lady unduly, as for all we know she just gave down the street, but the symbolism is perfect. Very well captured, Jeppe...later.

Hola Jeppe.
Very good composition with the musicians playing and at the same time the girl giving them some tips. Colors and POV are great. Love the way you captured the old lady in the foreground. An excellent daily life shot.
Well done. TFS.

Hej Jeppe...
Tak for musikken og det dejlige billede... Lyset er flot og kvinden, som skynder sig forbi er næsten ubehagelig afvisende over for de glade musikanter... Godt fanget...
Tak for synet ... Ina...

Hi Jeppe.
Nice contribution putting in light this street musicians. I like the way you used a tight crop allowing to use the yellow wall as a very bright background. The expressions of the musicians are very natural. The attitude of the woman is also interesting, a little bit as if she was trying to stay isolated in her thoughts.
Very nice contribution and a typical Jeppe's one!
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Jeppe
Really colorful background you have found to anchor this image. Good capture of daily life. The woman leaving in the picture is a nice touch. Well done.

Hi Jeppe. I think your note tells exactly what the photo also says. The happy smiles from the musicians making money and at the same time the woman rushing by, also underlined by the low shutter. You were lucky to have - and to see - this colorful background to the motive, it's a good contrast. If I myself should show to others a situation from daily life, I would say this situation is indeed weel chosen and well caught. A fine story told by catching just the right moment. Nice work. Greetings Jens :-)

Hi Jeppe,
Unfortunately there are places where making music on the street is forbidden. Fortunately not in Denmark and Holland. The yellow background is more typical for Denmark I think. The woman in front gives the picture a beautiful dimension.
