Hello Frederic,
For me, the most effective part of this image is the little 'caged' girl. She seems part of a folk tale - shut away by the local witch perhaps! The other figures do not have the same power and interest as that small, still figure , and I wish she was the only person visible. Although, she may represent the loss of freedom which the end of a holiday brings.

Absolutely marvelous shot. What a fantastic decisive moment! I am continuously amazed by the superb eye for the understated drama of life that you possess. Here the lines of perspective, the curve of the kids that reflect the curved pavement, and, to top all that, the brilliant placement of the little girl behind the grills with a longing expression in her face. I also notice the elegant form of the chairs on the deck above. Just marvelous.
