[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In Meknes, one of the "Imperial Cities" of Morocco, the Medina keeps the ancient atmosphere in its narrows streets. Coloured and just inlighted by soft lights, also during the hot days, the temperature is fresh.Under the sun, the temperature rise until 43°C.

A city to discover!

Hi Javier
You get a very nice light in this lane. The woman is perfect to give the human touch. Amazing colors and light.
I am surprise, it really look like the old city of Zanzibar.
Well done
Bertrand

Hi Javier,
You bring the atmosphere of the narrow streets of the medina well through your photograph, almost as if we are walking there. Nice colours and the lady is an esssential element here.
Regards
Wanda

Hi Javier,
A very interesting town where i was 4 years ago. Old, full with traditions, but on some places also very narrow which you show here excellent. Not only the old door and the yellow wall, but the woman passing by shows great timing and a very good eye in the composition.
Good piece of work, a nice reminder to this beautiful town...
Regards, Henk

Wonderful shot Javier! That wide angle is just perfect in these narrow streets. The tilt adds to the dynamism of the image but it also gives us the false impression that his lady is being "followed". This gives it another feel altogether.
Really good work

All the best
Steve

ps: did a little workshop on it just for fun

Salut Javier,

Yves.

Salut Javier,
Très belle lumière dans cette petite ruelle. Quelle harmonie des couleurs et quelle ambiance!
Superbe
Marc

Great lens choice....the viewer feels like they are following the woman directly through the image.
Cheers!
David

Very creative Javier
The tilt works well, and I love the bright colors.
Very nice
Harry

Miguel

Ola Javier,

I like the high pov, it creates the effect of being inside a maze, which - of course - suits your subject. Lovely colours too and the strong presence of the door is another big plus here. A great scene, well captured.

Nicely done Javier. The woman in blue compliments the yellow and brown walls. The angle gives an inetresting POV.

Hola Javier

J'aime beaucoup!
Iva

hola javier... i guess this is the first time i ve visited your gallery here -also the one in holik, i have a small one there too- and i am impressed... you are very good in street photography, your daily life shots are really cool... this one is one of the best from your morocco series... clostrophobic and so dynamic with the tilt... makes me feel like i am in a movie, and i am following that lady for some reason... love it a lot, my compliments...
