Photographer’s Note
Dedicated to Luko who set me the task and to Izzet for leading me there and giving me inspiration.
This young Turkish woman had obviously found something to delight her in this shop window of the Grand Bazaar - I wonder who the lucky man is!?
Black and White version in the workshop.

Is this vignette a la Luko? ;)
Wonderful catch, Kevin, her expression is truly wonderful. I love B&W, but this time I'm for colour version all the way...there is simply some glow all around (magenta glow, I should say).
Very nice!

I love the reflections of the jewels on the glass, like glittering framing of a clearly excited face. I hope the ring bring her good luck.
Take care,
Miguel

Beautiful in every respect. Glossy mag material without a doubt. Wonderfully relaxed expression. Perfect choice of DOF.

it was a rather difficult task indeed. finding aziyade... for sure, the place you would find her would not be today's pierre loti, where the frequenters are mostly closed people... i guess the task giver will be fond of that treasure you found. at least i know (and jerzy knows) how deep you dig for finding that ;)

the lucky man, actually, it's you, to get such a beautiful model, smiling, in such a situation, for a memorable composition, indeed, you were lucky, but a good photographer is not only lucky, he makes the photo at the right moment. i like the play of light

Kev
Magnifique réalisation. Ce visage rayonnant de bonheur (ah les femmes, toutes les mêmes!) qui se détache superbement de la vitrine et cette composition parfaite....une vraie affiche de pub pour le joaillier.

Everything is there - in her face...
Unlimited love and desire...And, the happiness to see those things and the happiness of being photographed...
A smile is the way to go...

A beautiful dreamy and nostalgic style face (Anna Karenine? But it could have been Julia Ormond in the movie the Barber of Siberia, too). The light is beautiful, the focus perfect, the timing too.. In a way, just so much faultless that, as bostankorkulugu, we could wonder if it was not arranged? I have read your answer, so I know it's not the case... then, I take you my hat's off!

Hi Kev,
A great portrait of this lady looking at the rings, the photo has something symbolic.
Beautiful image, and good use of the reflections in the shop window to give a more interesting effect.
Well done.
Best regards,
Josep

Sorry, I react slowly. First task completed! but that was the not the dirtiest work of the three... ;)))
I see that even in Turkey, diamonds are a girl's best friend... She is indeed very very nice looking (probably noticing her fine make up and smile, very conscious of her effects) , you were lucky to stumble on a Monica Bellucci look alike at Istanbul Bazaar.
Photowise, I don't even understand why you kept it RVB, for me there is no doubt it should be BW, it's probably a tad blown out on the rings side, Personally I think I would have kept a wide view ESPECIALLY if the whole surroundings were put in total darkness like it seems to.
Aziyade she is, so how can I give you less than a full smile :)
