Intro: Originally from Melbourne, Australia moved to Queensland's Sunshine Coast in 2003 and bought my first digital camera and got the bug, have since updated a couple of times with the latest being the Canon 40D of which I am in the process of learning.

Living in this part of Australia and being a morning person, most of my photography has been sunrises along the coast where I regularly walk, usually around 5am. I will often sit at the end of my walk and watch the surfers and reflect on my good fortune to live in such a beautiful place.

In 2007 I travelled to the UK with a side trip to Nth Ireland and Italy so will post some of those pictures in the near future. And in Feb 2009 I visited Queenstown and Milford Sound in New Zealand for a week.

I love nature, therefore the majority of my photos are scenic, birds, plants and animals and I take every opportunity to snap away where ever I am. My two dogs see me with camera in hand and automatically pose for me these days and the rest of the family run and hide. I also love to take natural rather than posed shots of people, but I guess I will learn the art of the later sometime in the future.
