Beware, you are warned, I am an amateur of photography in the original sense of the word, because, as long as I can remember, cameras have been a part of my life, first as subject and then as photographer. I started with point and shoot film cameras, then a Pentax SLR and now my seven digital cameras, an evolution. And my eye for a photo has evolved, too, thanks to the mentoring I have received here.

21 January 2006. I have learned so much from the photograpers here and, in doing so, have developed two photographic personalities, the artiste and the photojournalist. 4 April 2009 Three years after I last posted here, I'm back to the discipline of reviewing, editing and posting my photos for comments. I hope to see you here with comments soon.
